Substitute Teacher Service, (STS) is looking for Substitute Teachers to work in the Huntingdon Area School District for this up coming school year.

NEEDED:  

PA Cerified Teachers and anyone interested in teaching who has a four (4) year degree.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proof of Education - Dependent on position

• Substitute Teachers: PA Teaching Certificate
• Guest Teachers: Bachelors Degree or copy of transcripts and 2 sets of SEALED transcripts from the college or university that conferred your Bachelors Degree.

PA Mandated Background Clearances

Please note: Clearances can not be older than five (5) years old and depending on the district the requirement may be no older than one (1) year.

• PA Act 114 - FBI Clearance*

* For FBI Fingerprint clearances older than one (1) year,  you must provide a copy of the Federal Criminal History Record Information (CHRI Report) including all record pages.

Additional Documents Required

• TB Test or Chest XRay (results within two (2) years)
• Resume
• 3 Letters of Reference
• 2 forms of identification (Acceptable forms are listed below)

           a) Driver's license or Photo ID and social security card

           b) Driver's license or Photo ID and birth certificate

           c) Passport 

• A valid, working email address
• In accordance with PA Act 168 of 2014, a list of all current and past employers, including contact information, for all paid jobs held where you have or had direct contact with children.
• If you have already completed Act 126 training, please bring proof of completion. If you not, STS will provide it.
